Instead, services are provided under a combination of corporate registration, municipal approvals, and regulated healthcare professional oversight.

Breakthrough Recovery Centre operates from a physical residential facility that complies with applicable local and provincial requirements, including:

- Ontario Fire Code compliance and inspections
- Local public health requirements, where applicable
These approvals authorize the operation of a residential care setting and are maintained in good standing.
Clinical & Medical Oversight
Addiction treatment services at Breakthrough Recovery Centre are delivered by, or under the oversight of, regulated healthcare professionals licensed in Ontario, including:
- Physicians licensed by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
- Nurses licensed by the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Counsellors and therapists regulated by their applicable Ontario colleges

Detoxification Services
Breakthrough Recovery Centre provides on-site detoxification services as part of its residential continuum of care.
Detox services are delivered:
- Under physician oversight
- With nursing supervision appropriate to client needs
- In accordance with accepted Ontario withdrawal management standards
- With established protocols for medical monitoring and emergency escalation
Detoxification services are not a substitute for emergency medical care and are provided only when clinically appropriate.
Emergency & Continuity of Care
Breakthrough Recovery Centre maintains:
- Clear medical escalation procedures
- Emergency transfer pathways to hospital-based care
- Clinical assessment processes prior to admission
Admission to detox or residential treatment is based on clinical appropriateness, safety considerations, and availability. Treatment outcomes are not guaranteed.
Ethical Operations & Consumer Protection
Breakthrough Recovery Centre:
- Does not pay for patient referrals
- Does not engage in patient brokering
- Does not guarantee recovery or treatment outcomes
- Provides clear information regarding services, fees, and admissions
